When each of our guests return home, they receive a link to an online comment review asking them (anonymously, if they wish) how they enjoyed their vacation with us. There is no pressure to write a glowing review, as can happen with the "guest books" filled out on board the vessel at the end of the trip.
"Booking was very easy...the crew was fantastic, they were very helplful and enthusiastic... It was evident that they enjoyed their jobs and wanted to make sure we were taken care of... I always felt safe...it was my first liveaboard and exceeded my expectations...I would recommend this trip and crew to anyone." John, February 2009
"Wow- wow- wow-! loved it...this was luxury, baby!!!! Amazing crew- can't say enough about em!!!!" Lisa, February 2009
"I would dive with Explorer Ventures again. I would do a different itinerary next time simply because I don't ever go to the same place twice...(Dive sites) Diamond Rock and The Pinnacle were two of the best dives I've ever done." J. Kristin, February 2009
"Good morning! I wanted to write to tell you what an incredible time I had on the CEXII this past week. The diving was great, the crew was exceptional, the food was awesome and the sites were fantastic. It was a wonderful trip that I will remember for a long time. Thank you!" Jim. January 2009
"Very knowledgeable, helpful, and patient...The white board maps of the dive sites, along with creatures to look for, were fantastic! I also liked having the tanks filled in place, so I didn't have to remove and set up my BCD after each dive." Linda, January 2009
"You should have a "best crew ever" as a category - they WERE the best crew ever! They really really took great care of us and were a fun group of people to "live with" for that week...Loved it loved it loved it!...(Dive sites) Saba! Diamond Rock. Ladder Labyrinth was great too. Then Tent Reef." Gwen, January 2009
"As this was my first live-aboard I was grateful for the information provided. It answered almost all of my questions and got me to thinking about things I might otherwise not have planned for...This was my daughter's first dive trip and our first diving together. The staff went out of their way, both under the water and on the surface, to ensure that she and I had a safe trip...The dive sites were all very memorable...This was a fantastic trip and I will be talking about it for quite some time. Our entire crew worked diligently to ensure that our trip was memorable and safe. Our initial briefings on ship safety and activities were comprehensive. The dive briefings were detailed (and very artistic). The crew were always available to answer questions or just to chat. What he (the chef) produced from behind the galley door each meal was amazing. There was not a single meal that I would not gladly sit through again. And the snacks! ...Once again I would like to thank the entire staff for making my daughter and me feel safe and welcome throughout the entire trip. I will be re-living this trip in my memory for quite some time." Charles, December 2008
"GREAT trip ... really love your crews and boats!!!" Carolyn, December 2008
"I can't say enough about the willingness of the crew to get us the best diving conditions they could... artistic abilities and enthusiasm are second to NONE...they obviously loves her job! The rest of the crew was fantastic as well and we thoroughly enjoyed interacting with them." Janet, November 2008
"... The crew was fabulous always there to help and be a part of our group. They were great in every way. I have been on live a boards before and by far this has been the best crew ever. We have wonderful memories that will last a life time. The crew can make the trip great or spoil the trip. This crew met every matter with great professionalism. The food was awesome and the chef kept us all very happy! (Dive sites) You are kidding... I have to choose one? Can not be done ... Keep up the good work. The trip was great from start to finish. The home office crew was very helpful also before our trip answering all questions and worries. They get a gold star too!..." - Connie, September 2008
"... I have every intention of trying another of your boats in the future. I would love to try this one again ... (The dive sites) Wow!! so many were wonderful. Pinnacle. Diamond Rock. Dave's drop off (skull room..ask captian dave) Ledges. custom house ... to all I thank you very much for making my holiday a great memorable experience that I will carry with me for a long time ..." - Don, September 2008
"... my dad and I took a liveaboard in Palau for 10 days ... but Caribbean Explorer II was by far the better ... the crew were more friendly and helpful ... also the food was WAY better ... hats off to you guys. The crew were fantastic! They made the trip even better. A++ to(the chef) for the cooking :).. " - Dustin, March 2008
" ... This was my 19th liveaboard trip. I’ve traveled with many different liveaboard operations –so I have some past experience to work from: First off I’d like to congratulate the Caribbean Explorer II management in having a top notch operation ... The boat itself was clean, well maintained, and well designed for the purpose. The diving was smoothly orchestrated and everything worked as it was supposed to ... The staff was fantastic ... friendly captain who engaged constantly with the passengers. A skill or style not all liveaboard Captains choose to master. (The chef) was absolutely one of the best liveaboard chefs I’ve ever sailed with. Starting us out with a big steak dinner was the first indication that we were going to be in for a gastronomic extravaganza ... The diving was every bit as good as I hoped for. The gorgeous coral and sponge growth on the plateau and pinnacle of Third Encounter was for me the highlight of the trip. Definitely lived up to its reputation. In general I’d say the crew took us to some pretty nice spots. Stacia was not as dramatic as St. Kitts or Saba. But considering the state of many reefs throughout the Caribbean you’ve still got yourselves an itinerary worth traveling for. We saw some sharks, lots of turtles, some good sized schools of predators and prey, and lots of the pretty caribbean regulars. The photographers in the group had plenty of good stuff to shoot. ..." - Patrick, March 2008
" ... The best I can say is for a non-diver, I'd do it again! ... Although the accomodations are not as luxurious, the crew absolutely made up for the difference. They took such good care of us and seemed geniunely concerned about us. A very welcoming fact given I am a non-diver and spent considerable time on the boat ..." - Deb, February 2008
"... I have been on 5 liveaboard dive trips this crew was by far the best ever!..." - Linda, January 2008
"... This was, by far, the best crew I've ever had the pleasure of being with. Everyone was very nice, constantly hustling around the boat, personable and professional... the BEST chef ever ...very effective dive instructor, LOVED the certification class I took with her. The whole crew was very approachable and made our vacation wonderful. This was a perfect trip all the way around, nice boat, crew and guests. The diving was so nice and warm, I can't wait to return. Loved that, when I can get out of the water after a dive, i could say it was one of the best dives of my life. The non-stop action at the "sting-ray cleaning station" that we observed for about 1/2 hour was definitely one of those moments ..." - Jeanne, January 2008
